Born in Nara (Japan) Mamiko Someda studied piano and harpsichord and organ.
Student in the harpsichord section of the Toho Gakuen University in Tokyo, where she graduated in 2008 from the Faculty of Music and Diploma Graduate Studies in 2011 with teachers Chiyoko Arita, Shin ichiro Nakano, Masahiro Arita, Ryo Terakado, Emmanuel Girard, Atsushi Sakai and Hitoshi Mizuno.
She has also completed courses and master classes in Germany, Belgium, France and Japan with Robert Kohnen, Lars Ulrik Mortensen, Michele Dévérité, Sigiswald Kuijken and Wieland, Markus Schwenkreis.
She studied at the Academy of Music in Strasbourg Aline Zylberajch Class (Honours Diploma in 2014, Master cycle in2016)
She wins the second prize with Prix Anneli de Man 2015 (in Holland conctemporary concours, section:harpsichord)
She gives concerts in Tokyo, Osaka, Hyogo, Wakayama, Nara, and in Europe.
